Shanie Cahill, DC
Dr. Shanie Cahill is a 2001 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While in nursing school, she received a chiropractic adjustment to her ear which cured an ear infection. She realized the healing potential of chiropractic and changed her career path. During her chiropracticeducation, Dr. Cahill was introduced to animal chiropractic and fell in love with the idea. After graduating from Palmer, she completed the coursework for animal chiropractic through Options for Animals in Port Byron, IL and became certified by the AVCA. Dr. Cahill has been practicing animal chiropractic for 16 years and is highly sought after for her experience and knowledge. She has served as an examiner for the AVCA certification exam, has taught continuing education classes and labs for the AVCA, is a mentor for the Palmer College of Chiropractic Animal Chiropractic Club, and an official preceptor for Palmer. She also is one of the teachers for the A.C.E.S animal chiropractic course. In addition to animal chiropractic, Dr. Cahill is also trained in Thompson, Diversified and Activator techniques, B.E.S.T., Reiki, and animal communication. Dr. Cahill is the adoptive mother of two horses, Spitfire and Cutter, two incredibly sweet Doberman Pinschers named Yuma and Shania, and 3 adorable cats – Sweetie, Lulu and Gideon.
