Join the Academy for the Advancement of Animal Chiropractic in 2026 at the beautifully renovated Cozumel Palace for an unforgettable continuing education experience. This destination event offers minimum 18 CEs exclusively for certified animal chiropractors, combining world-class education with the luxury and relaxation of an all-inclusive resort. How to register:
Please note - there is a BASE PRICE for a single, double or triple room as we are charge accordingly. After you select your preferred option, hit "add to cart", you will automatically be selected to arrive Monday, June 8th and checkout Saturday, June 13th - this cannot be changed.
You will be able to add additional nights if you wish to arrive early (like on Saturday June 6th) or leave later (like on Sunday, June 14th).
Remember - the included rate is to arrive Monday, June 8, 2026 and checkout Saturday, June 13, 2026.

All prices are for 6 days, 5 nights. Additional nights are $500/night.
All rooms are Junior Suite Ocean View rooms at the Cozumel Palace and recently renovated in 2024!
Total costs:
Single occupancy - $2,500 (1 person per room)
Double occupancy - $2,900 (2 people per room)
Triple occupancy - $3,500 (3 people per room)

There is an option to livestream the event from the comfort of your home. Even if you can't join us live, you will have access to the recordings following the event. NOTE: AVCA must re-approve the same courses - so it can be up to 3+ months to have access to the OnDemand recordings - but the telestream option will still get you access to the OnDemands!

If you choose to fly into Cancun, we will NOT arrange hotel transportation to the resort.

Dr. Rachel Wendt is an accomplished professional with a robust background in healthcare leadership and chiropractic expertise. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, Dr. Wendt pursued her academic journey with fervor, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Hope College in Holland, MI, followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic from the esteemed National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.
Having recently relocated to Kentucky in 2021, Dr. Wendt assumed the role of Executive Director for the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors, where she oversees strategic initiatives and advocates for the advancement of chiropractic care statewide. Prior to her tenure in Kentucky, she made significant contributions to the field while collaborating with the Colorado Chiropractic Association from 2014 until her transition.
Though she no longer actively practices chiropractic, Dr. Wendt maintains active licensure in both Colorado and Kentucky, underscoring her commitment to maintaining professional standards and staying abreast of industry developments. Actively engaged in various state and national associations, she currently serves as Treasurer of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations.
Residing in Lexington, KY, Dr. Wendt continues to be a driving force in shaping the future of chiropractic care, leveraging her expertise and leadership acumen to effect positive change within the profession and beyond.

Payment Plans
Do you offer Payment Plans?
For in-person registration ONLY
There is an option to split the registration fee into two payments. Participants may submit an initial 50 percent payment and complete the remaining balance due NO LATER than April 23, 2026.
To arrange a split payment, please contact Dr. Rachel Wendt at dr.rachel.wendt@advancinganimalchiro.org as this option must be handled administratively and cannot be completed through the registration system on the front end of our website.
All final registration payments must be received no later than April 23, 2026. After this date, rooms can no longer be canceled.
Please note that the split payment option is not available after April 23, 2026 due to the rooming list cutoff.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: If a room is canceled on or before February 1st, 2026 a refund of the full price minus the cost of one night (due to Cozumel Palace) will be returned. If a cancellation is made after February 1st, 2026 no refund will be provided, due to Cozumel Palace policies. In the case of cancellation in either scenario, The Academy for the Advancement of Animal Chiropractic will make every attempt to fill the room with a different occupant. If, and only if, another occupant is found to transfer the reservation to will a full refund be provided. The final deadline for all refunds is January 31st, 2026. After April 23rd, 2026 Cozumel Palace will not accept any new reservations for this event, nor will they allow any transfer of names on the reservation, and all reservations are final.
At the event: Sign in and out sheets and/or an individual QR code for each attendee wanting CE credit will be provided and are required for every attendee for each course to confirm your attendance at our event. If you are not present for the majority of the presentation, you will NOT receive credit for that course. A certificate of completion can be found in your account on the Academy's site no later than 3 weeks after our event with your completed hours.
Livestream: If you are live streaming the event, you MUST ATTEST TO EACH SESSION. If you miss a session or miss an attestation, you will be required to re-take the OnDemand for CE credit.
Special note: Children, infants, and babies are NOT allowed to be present during any presentations due to recording purposes. No exceptions or you will be asked to leave and will not receive credit. Thank you for understanding.
